CHRISTINE HOLVICK, HARPIST
- A professional harpist, singer, composer, & instructor of harp, piano, & voice
- Performing since 1962
- Degrees: Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance,
University of the Pacific's Conservatory of Music, "magna cum laude"
Completing Masters of Music in Jazz Studies in Harp Performance,
University of Southern California "highest honors"
- 1975 & 1978 - post graduate studies at the Eduard van Beinum Institute in the Netherlands
with harpist Madame Phia Berghout
- 1976 - performed nightly at the prestigious San Francisco's Hyatt Regency
- 1977 - performed nightly at San Francisco's Saint Francis Hotel, UnionSquare
- 1978 - 1982
- Held position of "First Harpist" with the Pacific Philharmonic
- Member of Sierra Ensemble Chamber Quintet
- Member of The San Francisco Bay Flute and Harp Duo
- 1979 - 1981 Lived at sea aboard Orient Overseas Cruise Ship performing nightly solo harp
